ACTING like an oasis, SY21’s gardens are a picturesque retreat from the hustle and bustle of nearby Chapel Street’s frantic inner city traffic. The Piazza features resort-style palm trees surrounding a large water feature with incorporated bench seating.

A Mediterranean-style terracotta tiled stairway disappears up from The Piazza to River Street on the complex’s western side. The L-shaped pedestrian walkway, named Chapel Mews, connects Chapel Street, The Piazza and Club SY21 with more garden area that stretches to Malcolm Street to the south of the site.

All residents are also able to access an elevated Podium Garden bounded by the upper-level of Club SY21, Chapel Mews 40-41, and the 800 & 700 Chapel Street buildings.

While the Piazza Garden is pet-friendly, The Podium Garden has been designed as a “quiet space” reserved for residents and their guests only. Here rustic bench seating is complemented by a large grassed area and tree bank overlooking Chapel Street below. There are two access gates to The Podium Garden - the north entrance is located on the western side of Club SY21 and the eastern entrance is between Chapel Mews 40-41 and the 700 Chapel Street building.
